There are great things happening at the  Jennie Wade Media  Center. The center is now available to schools for field trips and classroom activities at her new home, Chilo Lock #34, museum and visitors' center.  A complete brochure of the parks facilities is available on line at the link listed above.  A variety of education programs are now available within the center. Educators are invited to use material available at the center or to bring their own. DVD, VCR and big screen TV are part of the equipment available. Displays, historical photos and information concerning the history of the Ohio River region are part of the center. Some of the programs available are:

          Lewis and Clark, The Eastern Legacy, 
produced by the Army Corp of Engineers

This summer the Friends of the Jennie Wade have helped to organize a very special day of  Lock and Dam sightseeing cruises. There will be three regular cruises and one special dinner cruise on Saturday June 28th boarding at the new Chilo Lock #34 Park's  landing.
