We are happy to announce the continuation of the mission of the Friends organization. With new leadership and new ideas the mission will continue and grow.
To visually connect and promote the region's history, attractions, businesses and events.
To provide a user- friendly facility that can be used as a classroom, a meeting room or a display center and to promote that use.
To promote the visual and performing artist of the region by offering them a staging area to show their talents or tell their stories.
To promote and develop new and developing community projects and events.
We are excited to report that the sternwheeler, Jennie Wade has a new home port at Rivertowne Marina on Kellogg Ave, Cincinnati. She will continue to welcome the public and tell her story to all who visit her. The Friends organization will continue at the Chilo Park taking on new projects but continuing and expanding the original mission once started by the owners of the Jennie Wade and all her supporters.
